The Town of Cambridge is undertaking a timber cladding renewal project at its Administration Centre, located at 1 Bold Park Drive in Floreat. The project focus on replacing weathered timber panels in the north-eastern courtyard to maintain the building’s appearance and ensure the longevity of its exterior finishes.

Since the Centre’s opening in June 1996, timber cladding has been a key architectural feature. While many panels remain in good condition, those in areas with greater exposure to the elements have experienced natural wear over time.

New timber panels will be installed to closely match the existing colour and style, preserving the building’s visual character and supporting ongoing maintenance of this important civic facility.

Project Schedule

  • Review scope of works: September - October 2025
  • Procurement and contractor engagement: November 2025
  • Construction commencement on site: December 2025
  • Target completion: February 2026
  • Final inspection and close-out: March 2026
