Easter trading hours

Town of Cambridge Administration Centre and Cambridge Library will be closed from Friday 3 April to Monday 6 April 2026. Bold Park Aquatic and Wembley Golf Course will operate with adjusted hours.
Waste collection services for Good Friday - 3rd April will move to Saturday 4th April. Easter Monday waste collections will remain the same.

Cambridge a 2023 WasteSorted Awards Finalist for Waste Solutions

The Town of Cambridge has been named a finalist in the esteemed 2023 WasteSorted Awards.

These annual awards recognise outstanding waste reduction efforts and sustainable solutions aligned with Western Australia's Waste Strategy. Nominations were received across various categories, honoring achievements by individuals, businesses, governments, schools, and community organisations.

For the first time, the 2023 WasteSorted Awards will coincide with the Waste & Recycle Conference, facilitating knowledge exchange and collaboration among stakeholders.

Town of Cambridge is a finalist in three categories:

  • Category 4 - Waste Champion Individual Award: Carey Wright - Town of Cambridge
  • Category 6 - Metro Local Government Award: Town of Cambridge - Empowering Community Waste Solutions
  • Category 8 - Community Engagement Award: Town of Cambridge - Transforming Textile Waste

Winners will be announced at the gala event on 14 September 2023 at Crown Perth. The recognition reflects the Town's commitment to sustainability and innovative waste management practices.
