Bold Park Aquatic drew an impressive turnout on Sunday, 18 January 2026, with more than 1,300 people enjoying the Celebrate Summer Festival 2026 across three hours.
Attendees made the most of the sunny but not-too-hot conditions, taking part in a range of activities including water slides, giant inflatables, face painting and live music. Families relaxed on the lawns, children queued for the slides, and hot chips proved to be a popular choice from the kiosk.
With such a strong community response, there is plenty more to look forward to this year. The next free, family-friendly event is Sunset Beats on Sunday, 22 February at City Beach, running from 5pm to 7pm. This coastal evening event will feature live music by More Than a Feeling, bringing yacht rock classics to round out the weekend.
