The Town of Cambridge conducts weed spraying throughout the year. All weed control is undertaken following the WA Health Guidelines to ensure best practice is used to minimise risk to the community.
Residents may request a five-metre exclusion on the verges and other public areas abutting their property by completing an online form. Registration takes up to five business days to take effect, and all residents must re-register in January each year to remain on the exemption list.
All property owners/occupiers who sign the form must keep the kerb, footpath, and park/open space (if applicable) adjacent to their property weed-free to the same standard as achieved by chemical control. Failure to do so may result in the need for the Town to undertake the control by chemical means.
