RFT 2026-03 Supply and Installation of Heat Pump for Bold Park Aquatic

The Contractor shall provide all labour, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the following works at Bold Park Aquatic Centre:
• Removal of existing pipework: Remove existing Ø100 PVC-U PN12 pipework
between the heat pump chillers and the header.
• Installation of new pipework: Supply and install Ø150 pipework, including all
associated valves, fittings, supports, and replacement of the existing header (currently
Ø150).
• Pump replacement: Remove existing main pool hot water pumps and supply new
pumps sized to suit revised flow rates for the new heat pump unit. Pumps must be fitted with Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) for control and commissioning.
• Heat pump replacement: Remove one existing Rheem HWP300-3 heat pump and
install one new Rheem RTHP350KT-DQV-3 heat pump.
• Associated works: Undertake all necessary builders’ works and electrical works to
facilitate installation.
• Commissioning: Commission pumps and heat pump based on revised flow rates and
system requirements to ensure reliable operation and compliance with performance
standards.
