Christmas Lights Trail 2025

The Town of Cambridge is delighted to once again run the Cambridge Christmas Lights Trail competition! This festive initiative is all about celebrating the holiday season and showcasing the incredible Christmas light displays created by our talented local residents. Let’s light up the Town with holiday cheer!

Entry to the competition is free, with categories for best home and best street/laneway displays available, with the below awards:

Best Street or Laneway Award	A street sign recognising the award and promotion of the winning street/laneway through the Town’s social media accounts and Cambridge News.

Registration

Registrations open 9:00am Monday, 3 November 2025 and close 5pm Thursday, 4 December 2025. Entry confirmation will be sent to all registered entrants and entrants will have until 5:00pm Monday, 8 December 2025 to provide a photo of their Christmas Lights for the map (see Terms and Conditions for specifications on requirements of photo).

Eligible registrations are in the running for a $100 gift voucher, to be drawn on Friday, 5 December 2025.

Voting

A two-week voting period will open on Friday, 12 December 2025. When voting opens a list of entries and a map showing the locations of each Christmas lights display will be available through the Cambridge Christmas Lights Competition website. Details of how to access the website will be made available through the Town’s website and Social Media platforms.
