Associated and Catholic Colleges of WA Cross Country

Cross Country (50).jpg

The ACC cross country was first conducted in 1966 at Perry Lakes as a boys only cross country event. CBC Leederville (now Aranmore Catholic College) won the inaugural competition. In 1977, girls were added to the event for the first time when the ACC changed to a coeducational sports association.

The event has been held at Perry Lakes each year since 1966, except for a brief period in the late 1980s when the event was held at Clontarf College. Before 2000, the ACC course route included sections of bushland in Bold Park as well as Perry Lakes and Alderbury Reserve. The event is now held within the confines of Perry Lakes and Alderbury Reserve.

John XXIII College won the 2022 cross country event..
