Join Perth NRM, Cambridge Coastcare and Blue Crew this school holidays for a Stories of the Dunes & Fish Printing activity! Suitable for ages over 10 years old.

• FINISH TIME: 10:30am

 

Session 1. Stories of the Dunes (9:00-9:30am)

Setting the scene for the activity, Cambridge Coastcare will take you on a short walk near the dunes to talk about the amazing work they're undertaking to protect the coastline of Floreat Beach.

 

Session 2. Fish Printing (9:30-10:30am)

Discover what makes a fish a fish, then unleash your creativity by crafting your own unique fish print using high-quality fish replicas. It's a fun mash-up of marine biology and an ancient Japanese artform. The session will introduce you to fish anatomy, adaptations for survival and just how important biodiversity is! All participants will go home with their own unique fish print.

WHAT TO BRING:

• Sun-protection such as a hat, long sleeves
• Drink bottle
• Closed in shoes

 

PARENTS/GUARDIANS: Are required to join us for the activities to supervise children under 16 years old.
