The Role
Join the Town as our Business Systems Analyst, primarily working with the Enterprise Resource Planning digital transformation project. With your excellent communication skills, experience in process mapping, documentation and business requirements gathering you will facilitate the implementation of business solutions across the Town.
We are currently seeking proactive, customer service focused individuals that will engage with stakeholders to understand current processes, map the desired state and provide solutions.
With highly proficient business communication and technical skills, the successful applicant will work closely with business stakeholders across all levels and translate this information into technical requirements and assist with business delivery implementation.
This opportunity is offered on a full-time temporary (6-month) basis, with the possibility of extension.
Selection Criteria
- Experience in implementing modules in Technology One
- Demonstrated experience in business analysis, process mapping and business improvement.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience in cloud-based systems and integrations.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with all types of stakeholders at any level.
- Demonstrated high level of oral and written communication skills, with the ability to concisely capture business and systems requirements and produce reports and project documentation.
- Comprehensive knowledge in the development of user acceptance testing plans and training material
- Well-developed organisational skills to manage competing priorities and business needs.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
- Completion of an IT/IS/Computer Science/Software Engineering degree and industry experience in business analysis or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Experience in end to end project delivery.
Highly Regarded:
- Demonstrated understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (Desirable)
- Demonstrated understanding in Agile methodology (Desirable)
- SQL query writing skills, experience with Data Models, Crystal reports, XLOne reports, and ETLs (Desirable)
Eligibility
- Right to work in Australia (birth certificate, current passport or current visa)
- National Police Clearance (no older than 3 months)
