Festive Season Opening Hours 2024/25

Town Administration Centre & Depot
The Town of Cambridge Administration Centre and works depot will be closed from 12pm, Friday, 20 December 2024, and will reopen from 8am, Monday, 23 December 2024. Both centres will close for the festive period from 12pm, Tuesday, 24 December 2024, and will reopen at 8am, Thursday, 2 January 2025.

Waste Collection
Please note, rubbish and recycling collection days will change on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day – some collection services will roll forward by one day (see table below). Please ensure your bins are placed out on the verge by 6am.

Extra Recycling Collection
To help manage holiday waste, there will be an additional recycling (yellow-lid bin) collection from 30 December to 4 January. That means whether it is your recycling week or not, the yellow bin will be picked up that week. Please ensure your recyclables are ready for collection on your designated day!

Cambridge Library
Our library will close from 12pm, Tuesday, 24 December 2024 to Wednesday, 1 January 2025 (inclusive). Normal hours of operation will resume from Thursday, 2 January 2025.
