The Galup Dog Exercise area is a safe and expansive space for your dog to roam off-leash.

The semi-enclosed area facilitates safe dog activity and includes the following facilities:

  • Fencing along Lake Monger Drive
  • Large off-leash dog exercise area
  • New footpath from existing Galup circuit
  • Double gated entry for dog and owner safety
  • New drinking fountain with dog bowl
  • Park bench seating
  • Litter bin and dog waste bag dispenser
  • Lighting (to be installed at a later date)

Bordered by Lake Monger Drive on the west side and the Mitchell Freeway to the east, the Galup Dog Exercise Area is easily accessed with car parking and a well-connected path network.

Please note this is not an enclosed area, the fence is to protect dogs from the busy Lake Monger Drive traffic.
